"Forth"
I am undertaking a large aerial study of the land around the River Forth from the estuary to the source. I have always liked taking photographs from a high view point after seeing images by Andre Kertesz and when I saw the images of Yann Arthus-Bertand I knew that this was what I wanted to do.  Some images are already on
www.photobox.co.uk/kennybean with the rest being added after every new flight.

"Underworld Exhibition"
I have been experimenting with scanning insects and stem sections at high resolution. The results were almost there but not quite good enough using a film scanner. I have now managed to scan all the images using the Botanic Gardens snazzy digital microscope thanks to Frieda Christie. The images are so big it will be no problem to blow them up to 5 feet. The exhibition is at Royal Botanic Gardens exhibition hall during Nov -Jan 2007.

Spine
I have completed the residency at Dancebase and made some interesting images.  I am now waiting to work at the Scottish Dance Theatre with their dancers. The idea is to create impossible images from the dancers. The exhibition will be on-line at
www.photobox.co.uk/kennybean as soon as I have enough good images.

Techfest Science Festival, Aberdeen 13-17th Sept
Photo-Lab will be at Techfest again this year. The darkroom will be set up in the Beach Ballroom and I will be running Shadograph workshops. During the week Techfest is open for schools groups but is open to anyone on the weekend.
