Participants take over a space and design a projection installation using aluminium poles to create a basic structure. White material covers the structure and digital images made by the group are projected through it into the space. A soundtrack is created using sample-based software or created from scratch in Sonar for a more atmospheric effect. Tunnel access can be added as well as textured flooring with sensor pads that can trigger off sounds and video clips.
Discussion Space
A project can be designed around a specific theme with images and sound content created by participants. The final projection space allows participants to control the projections they see to allow discussions to take place. The space could also be used as a new and exciting way to present the outcomes of an evaluation project.
